Digital camera reviews of Seiko DM50S Clip Digital Metronome (Silver)Digital camera Review: Battery change is a hassle Summary: 3 Stars
The 3 tiny screws that you have to take off in order to change the battery are hard to reach. I managed to take one off but the second one was scrapped perhaps because the screwdriver did not go in exactly the perpendicular position. The third screw is even harder to reach because the clip is in the way. I will go somewhere to find a better tool, otherwise the device will be useless :-(
Digital camera Review: Chi Running essential Summary: 5 Stars
I used this for Chi Running. It works great and the options make it very adaptable to different conditions.
Digital camera Review: Compact Metronome Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased this item to help set a cadence in my golf swing, on the recommendation of a friend who had tried the method. This metronome is easy to use, very portable (even has a clip so you can clip it to your belt), and loud enough for you to hear but not so loud as to be a nuisance to others who might be close by. Additionally, it is durable and is a relatively inexpensive item that has been reliable. Using this has helped my golf swing tempo, also.
Digital camera Review: Compact and easy to use Summary: 4 Stars
This is a great little metronome. It is very versatile, compact and easy to use. I especially like that the sound can be turned off with just the LED blinking (while recording, for example) I just wish the LED was a little bigger/brighter because it's hard to see out of the corner of your eye. Fortunately you can clip it right onto the music using the handy clip. I'm anticipating that the battery change another reviewer alluded to will be a hassle when it comes time to do that. First of all, it's an LCD battery CR2025 which are not cheap ($4-$5 at Walgreens), and there are four mini phillips head screws to remove, two of which are right under the the clip. I think one of those short screwdrivers that come in eyeglass repair kits will work fine, though. If I had realized this before I purchased it, I might have gotten a different metronome that takes regular AAA batteries. Over the long term it will have been cheaper. Still, I'm not unhappy with the purchase because this metronome does the job nicely and fits in the little compartment in my guitar case along with my capo, digital tuner and picks.
Digital camera Review: Favorite metronme Summary: 5 Stars
This is the best metronome I have ever owned. 30-250 beats per minute, adjustable by increments of 1's and 10's, subdivisions available, volume capability is high, battery lasts a long time. Couldn't ask for much more.
Cons: It's so easy to lose!
