I purchased a pair of these for $30 shipped. I had purchased another pair previously for $16 shipped. Both are not fake. However, beware of cheap knock-offs. I was sure the $16 pair was fake but they turned out to be real; sometimes you can find a really good deal. There are some sophisticated fakes that are even being sold by reputable sellers due to the fact that they cannot tell a difference. Google around for tutorials that show differences. Anyway, these are a great set of headphones. I've noticed slight discomfort with long use but it's not too bad. They do a good job of blocking ambient noise. For such a cheap price you can't go wrong, I believe you will be thoroughly surprised. These headphones come with an asymmetrical cable. You put the left earbud in your left ear and the right earbud behind your neck, instead of in front, and into your right ear. At first I did not understand why the cable was like this but it makes much more sense once you use it correctly.
