Digital camera Review: About These headset
Summary: 5 Stars

When i first bought these I bought one for my brother but then my dad liked them so much he bought himself a pair and then so did my other brother! These headset are deffinatley worth the price and give such a good time in the plane, metro, car etc... The nosie cancelling is amazing thinking you dont need extra batterieys or anything.
There small a sweet.
These are a good buy!

Digital camera Review: Absolute Garbage! NOT!!

UPDATE!!!

I changed my rating from 1 to 3 stars because it looks like I was sold a bootleg set of earphones. Thanks to another Amazon member, I was able to compare with photos on another website that showed me what to look for to identify the fake. I have no idea how the real ones sound, and Sennheiser never responded to my inqiry. All I can do at this point is give a neutral 3 stars and warn everyone that you may be sold fakes here on Amazon if you buy from a private seller. Also, it is entirely possible that such sellers do not even know that they are selling fakes.

Here is my original review just for reference purposes:

I do not understand all the 4 and 5 star reviews on this! Either they all work for Sennheiser, or they have no concept of good sound, or the set I got was completely defective. I had sennheiser lightweight open aire headphones in the 70s that sounded awesome for a price of $25. I expected similar performance from these, but I was terribly disappointed. They sounded no better than the cheap earphones that came with the old iPod shuffle. Also, I had to play with the plug to get sound into both earphones at the same time, but it didn't matter since the sound was unacceptable whether or not I received both channels. Also, the lopsided design of the wire is terrible. I ended up buying sony earphones for $26.00 from BestBuy. They perform as well as I expected from these sennheisers, and are very comfortable for all size ear canals. I contacted Sennheiser, but they failed to respond...the company is useless as far as customer service is concerned. Do not believe the positive reviews! If you know good sound, you will not be happy with these.

Digital camera Review: Absolute rubbish
Summary: 1 Stars

These are the most horrible in-ear headphones I've ever tried. No bass frequency at all and very uncomfortable. Shame on Sennheiser. It's unbelievable that they can cost 30 ?. The MX 500 are much better by far.
And now, who refunds my money?.

Digital camera Review: Acceptable
Summary: 3 Stars

I purchased these for use with an Apple Shuffle that I carry when flying. The Apple earphones are ridiculous. You feel like you must shove them in to your ear canal, and they always feel like they are going to fall out. The Sennheiser fits like an earplug and they do a good job of blocking ambient noise on an airliner. This means lower volume levels to listen to music. The unequal length earbud cords were not something I was aware of when I made my purchase. I will never buy another set of earbuds with the unequal length cords. That is a really Stupid Idea. The sound is OK, nothing spectacular, but considering the size of the units I guess it's all I can hope for.

Digital camera Review: Adequate
Summary: 3 Stars

For the money these are sufficient. Certainly better than $20 Skull Candy, not nearly as good as $150 Shure. Cheap enough to loss/break and not ruin my day, good enough to enjoy at the gym... List price of $89.95 is way out of line, but for $20 a great deal.
