I am very hard on headphones, I use them every day with my laptop, ipad 2 and ipod, toss them around, bring them everywhere, and just generally not as careful as I should be...I shopped around after breaking my beloved expensive Bose headphones. I was only looking to spend around $30 so, in desperation at a store, I first picked up Sony MDR-NC7 Noise Cancelling and there was just no way. After reading all the reviews and knowing my price range, I decided this was the best bet and it truly WAS. I like my music loud and the sound is absolutely incredible and crisp, somewhat comparable to the fidelity of Bose, they are all-around very comfortable and a complete steal. In my opinion, the only con is that the cord is too long but it's definitely managable. Unfortunately, 8 months in, I did break these too, the cord ripped where it meets the earcup, killing one of them, but it was due to my own carelessness and not the product itself. My bad. Also, there were countless times I did drop them and they didn't break lol. I love them so much that I had to order a replacement right away. It's only been one hour and I miss them already!! They are absolutely amazing headphones and I wouldn't consider buying any other brand or model except Bose.Digital camera Review: Almost Perfect!

I bought the Sony Studiomonitor headphones and was troubled with the pain they inflicted on my poor ears. So returned those and bought these. HD202's got amazing sound quality, good sound isolation and most important they are much more comfortable than many other closed headphones. Although after about 2-3 hrs of continuous use, you begin to feel the pressure of the hard inside on your ears. Comfort from these headphones largely depends on the size of your ears and on how much they protrude on the outside to be pressed by the hard inside of the ear cups.
I found them ok, but others may not feel so, so be sure to try them out before you buy, or atleast buy them from a place where you can return 'em. But definitely 10x better than the Sony Studiomonitor which press HARD all over your ear!

GOOD:
Lightweight
Cool and unique looking
Sound awesome
Super affordable
Incredibly comfortable (can wear for hours!)
Easy to adjust size
NOT SO GOOD:
Super-long cord
Fragile cord (my first pair disconnected from the ear thing after an accidental tug)
Cord comes out of each side instead of just one (personal preference)
