Out of every piece of audio hardware that I have, these are the greatest value of all of them. For the price, the sound quality is excellent. They are also very comfortable, as I have worn them for hours on end with no discomfort.
On the other hand, folding the headphones up is unintuitive, and has led to tangled wires on more than one occasion. In addition, these headphones leak sound really badly, so everyone around you will end up listening to whatever you are listening too.

For $38, no tax & free shipping you're getting a great product with these PX100's! The sound quality is excellant and by far they're the best bass headphones I've tried so far. I'm a newbie with an 80G iPod and I'm picky with headphones, I tried the Sennheiser CX300 IE (same price paid on ebay) but found them uncomfortable with inferior sound quality to these. I read many positive reviews on these before purchasing and so far I'm very impressed!Digital camera Review: A waste of money

These headphones may be a step up from the headphones that came with your portable. Maybe.
But that's about it.
People who are impressed with these headphones probably have never heard good headphones, or good speakers, for that matter.
If you know what good sound is, these are a waste of money.
Note that the specs do not list a +/- db for the frequency response. These headphones have very little bass or high frequency response. But what they do reproduce is fairly clear, though there is some coloration.
And the headphones are comfortable.
So they would make excellent headphones for a foreign language lab, which is where you most often see Sennheisers.
Listen to these headphones before you buy them. And compare them with some good headphones.
THEY ARE A WASTE OF MONEY.
I should have returned them.
I do not use them because the sound is so unpleasant.
I am not exaggerating.

Our kids all put skull candy headphones on their Christmas lists this year, but after reading poor review after poor review on the quality of the Skull Candy line, we decided to trust the other consumers and go with the Sennheisers. We are certainly glad we did. these headphones sound incredible, they make my noise canceling Sony's sound horrible. That being said we have ordered 2 more pair of Sennheisers - The PX200 II's for my wife and I. Primarily the decision was not based on sound quality, but to differentiate between the kids and ours. But if the PX200II's are as good or surpass the PX100's then I couldn't be happier. we will soon find out as we are awaiting shipment.
