I've owned these for five years now, and have to say they are the best headphones I have ever owned. The highlights:
1. Sound quality - once in a while I'll compare these to a cheaper set of headphones/earbuds and am always surprised at how good these sound in a side-by-side comparison.
2. Collapsible - All throughout college I'd fold these up and toss them into my backpack to take to the library. You can fit them in your pocket, but it's a bit of a squeeze.
3. Great build quality - steel and plastic.
Only con is that the foam cushions covering the speakers occasionally slip off. If you really have a problem with that, I guess you could put a spot of glue to hold them on.
These have stood the test of time...you won't be disappointed.

I saw many good comments about these headphones and decided for the price I couldn't afford not to try them. They have become my favorite iPod headphones, I can't believe the quality of the music you get for the price. I'm not an audiophile, but there's no question these are the best I have. I actually prefer the sound of these to my Bose QuietComfort 2's, although admittedly those emphasize noise-cancelling and have great sound too. I'll echo previous reviewer's comments that the included case is more of a traveling case than a routine storage case as it is not easy to get them back into it.
I use these primarily for exercise-related uses and have not owned them long enough yet to see what the long term effects of sweat and hard use are.

All the positive reviews across the internet were absolutely right. From the time I put them on, these headphones were completely different from any I had previously owned. The range of sound is superb, and the bass response is surprising for a package of this size. Sound clarity is not an issue, you can crank the volume up quite high without any distortion.
Here are some more features:
-extremely portable: the PX100s fold up into a little carrying case
-easy on the ears: the only time I've had any slight discomfort whatsoever was when I wore them for 6 hours straigh.
-easy to drive: even on my AAA battery-driven Zen micro MP3 player I didn't need to max the volume to hear everything well.
Here are some other things to consider:
-since these are portable, the cord is only 5 ft long; you will most likely need an extension if you plan on using them with a desktop PC.
-these are OPEN headphones, so some sound leaks out: most music and sound is barely audible a few feet away from the PX100s, but game sounds (gunfire, explosions, etc.) and rock music seem to propagate easily because of the sharp, intense sounds. If you need a pair of headphones to use in a quiet area, I would suggest buying a closed pair (earcups) or some canal earphones (ones that go inside the ear canal).
All in all, a great buy, considering that most headphones don't begin to sound this good until you hit $60.

These headphones not only sound great for the price, but they are also surprisingly comfortable. Their design makes them easy to transport in coat pockets, briefcases, etc. You simply fold them up and slide them into the provided hard plastic case, which can be accomplished in about twenty seconds. The Sennheiser PX100 is an excellent choice for use with portable devices such as MP3 and CD players.
It is an open air system with the good balanced qualities Sennheiser is noted for. I would ignore nit-pickers posting criticisms at the atomic level about this level of product. For me, the bottom line is musical enjoyment with the limitations of these portable devices.
I find these headphones to be fully capable of delivering a very high quality of all sorts of music. That is all anyone can ask.
