Digital camera Review: A must have for long flights!!

I bought a set of these recently and could not have been more impressed with them! They are fantastic. They were incredibly comfortable (and my head is not a small one-ha!)and really reduced the amount of stress I normally feel when flying due to the noise of the plane itself as well as the noise of people (usually kids) around me. The noise canceling feature works amazingly well. I used them with my personal player (for music) and with the onboard system when watching a movie. They worked well in both cases. They are a great quality for the price.

I like these headphones because they're comfortable on my ears and have a good sound. The battery pack is a little cumbersome, so you have to hook it somewhere or it flops around. I didn't realize how noisy the A/C units in my office were until I put these bad boys on. One of the main things I was going for was to lower the volume that I listen to my music at, so that I don't damage my ears. I'm currently listening to Pink Floyd's "The Final Cut", which has a huge range of frequencies and sound levels, and these things allow me to really hear everything going on.
While everything is definitely much quieter while wearing these things, they do add a surprising amount of white noise at some of the higher frequencies, which is a bit annoying. At first I thought this was just something that I couldn't hear without them because of all the lower-frequency noise in the room, but I've convinced myself that's not the case. My second complaint is that they'll probably tempt me to spend far less time than normal not listening to music, because now that I know how much ambient noise is in this office, I'd rather not listen to it anymore.
Has there always been a dog barking in the background of this album's title track?

This is our first experience with noise-canceling tech, but my husband was delighted with the Sennheiser 250's. A ten-hour flight turned into a tour of the British Airways in-seat entertainment center because he could hear it so well. The separate battery pack was absolutely no hassle, so don't let that feature keep you from buying this product. We were both inpressed with the difference between powering the n/c tech and using them without the active n/c on. What a difference. And the price was great online. I got both my Sansa 4GB mp3 player and these headphones early - I was so happy. It was practically a week before their due date and personally I was getting angry with other purchases from this site that took soooooooo long.
Anyway, so I'm all, "I GOT MY FIRST SOUND CANCELLING HEADPHONES!!!" and I pop them in and start jamming. I'm a rock music fan, especially with bands like 5FDP or All That Remains - basically, really hardcore heavy stuff. Instantly I notice something is up - THERE WAS NO BASS. Needless to say I nearly flipped. $80 or so right down the tubes.
Finally losing the persona of a typical consumer, I read the instruction manual. The little noise cancelling stick thinger actually increases the quality of your music as well - or so I found out after I popped in 2 AAA batteries. I've never heard ANY headphones, no matter what equalizer setting you have them on, have this great of sound quality.
I clapped my hands a few times to see how well these worked. I could still hear it so I assumed maybe I had wasted a bit of money. I flipped through a few screens on youtube and started playing Two Weeks (All That Remains) on high quality (add &fmt=18 to the link at the end) and then nearly fell off my chair when my friend appeared next to me. I couldn't even hear a word of what she was saying!
Such a great buy for its price - they're fashionable as well as high quality. :D
