Digital camera Review: Easy to use but unacceptable interference levels for the price

I received the Sennheiser RS 140 headphones yesterday, and am sending them back tomorrow. My intended use was for watching movies and TV, especially late at night. Set up was cake, the product is well built, and the cradle and charging system works well.
However, these phones fall over where it counts, the sound quality. There is simply way too much interference for a product at this price level, and it is extremely distracting during dialog in movies or TV shows. May be fine if you just want to use it for music, as the sound quality itself is fairly good, but I wouldn't recommend it.

I purchased these as I quite often stay up later than my wife and we also have a young daughter. I can watch TV without disturbing them. The Sennheisers have a comfortable fit and great sound. Setting them up was a breeze although I had to alter the output settings of my Home Theatre and of my Playstation. Once I had done that I was all go! Hard to imagine how I got on before. Purchased these so I could listen to TV at night and not disturb my wife. Setup was a snap, just plugged into the audio out RCA connectors on my TV. The base transmitter/charger works great. Plop the headphones on and they charge or trickle charge while they are on there. No worries about overcharging. The sound quality is very good as well. The biggest surprise for me was the range. I am able to go pretty much anywhere in my house (an even into the garage) and still hear what is going on. No missing something while going to the Kitchen to grab a snack... the audio comes with you. Very cool set of headphones for a great price.Digital camera Review: Excellent

If you or someone in your home is hard of hearing, this is the perfect product. My husband has a difficult time making out all the words while watching TV. With these headphones, he can hear clearly all the words and enjoy the program we are watching. He no longer has to ask me, "what did he say?" I would recommend it to those who want to enjoy watching TV without interruption.
