We purchased this mini dent puller and used it on the front fender dent of my husband's truck. It worked incredibly fast with five or so pulls. The dent was rather large about 5" by 6". I actually purchased these for a ding on the hood of my new car. Didn't work as the dent is around the size of a hail stone (1"). The 2 ¼ size is too big to work correctly on such a small dent. Extremely pleased with this purchase and the best part is no body shop repair bill! Worth the small price. May not work for everyone but worked for us.Digital camera Review: It Doesn't Work

My college's auto body program used one of their professional suction cup dent pullers and worked a miracle on a dent in my car from vandalism. So I went to the local tool store and bought this dent puller, and it is all but worthless. Horrible sticking (suction) power, comes right off, I wish I had saved my money. Might work for dents in light metal, but not on a car unless the metal area is large and relatively flat and the metal is thin.Digital camera Review: Small, but decent

How well you like these will totally depend on what you want to use them for. They have decent pulling power for the size, but just don't expect miracles. I really haven't used them much yet. I purchased a few other larger aluminum models for trying to pull out a car door dent. One thing to note on most of the lever action operated suction cups is that they cannot form to irregular surfaces very well. The sides of the cups are not very tall like ones specifically made for dent pulling. I tried a double cup unit on a car windshield and the curvature of the glass pretty much would not allow it to develop suction. I had to use bearing grease to get either of the larger ones I bought to develop suction on a slight bent panel that was otherwise very smooth.Digital camera Review: Too weak to pull dents.
