This clock is simple to use, and attractive. My only criticism--if you can call it that--is that the backlight only comes on when you touch the bar on top. I understand why--this is cordless and having constant illumination would wear out the batteries too quickly. But if I wake up at night, I'd prefer being able to just glance at the clock rather than rolling over and pushing the bar in order to see what time it is.

It has a 12/12hr format with month, date and day of week It also has snooze and a silver case.The Sharp SPC309C LCD Backlight Alarm Clock provides you with a well-lit, LCD display for nighttime viewing. Featuring control settings on the front side of the silver and titanium-colored case, this clock is easy and convenient to use. In addition to time settings in either 12- or 24-hour format, the Sharp SPC309C features temperature settings in both Celsius and Fahrenheit as well as the day of week, date and month. And a snooze/light button on the top of the case makes it easy to catch a few extra winks every morning. Backed by Sharp's two year limited warranty, this clock requires two AA batteries that are not included.
