Digital camera reviews of Sharp SPC309C LCD Backlight Alarm Clock (Silver)Digital camera Review: Please read before buying Summary: 3 Stars
I was a little disappointed after opening it and finding out it was more of a travel alarm clock for keeping appointments and such, rather than one you might keep in a bedroom to wake up to. It is battery operated and the lighted display does not stay lit. You push the snooze button to turn it on and it only stays lit for a couple seconds before turning off. And when the alarm goes off it is kind of quite for an alarm clock and it turns the alarm off after a minute or two. It is not for a heavy sleeper. But on the up side it is small and takes up little space and the display is relatively large. Also there's a switch on the back for setting time, date, and alarm but it also includes a lock position so the setting won't easily be changed accidentally. Overall I would not recommend this to someone who needs an alarm click to wake up to.
Digital camera Review: Sharp LCD clock Summary: 4 Stars
This clock is simple to use, and attractive. My only criticism--if you can call it that--is that the backlight only comes on when you touch the bar on top. I understand why--this is cordless and having constant illumination would wear out the batteries too quickly. But if I wake up at night, I'd prefer being able to just glance at the clock rather than rolling over and pushing the bar in order to see what time it is.

Good appearance and functionability. The process to set the clock and/or alarm is not hard but bothersome.
Digital camera Review: VERY pleased Summary: 5 Stars
Have had absolutely no problem with this clock. It's a battery back-up for our AC powered clock, and it appears to be a good choice for the job.
Digital camera Review: Viewing angle problem spoils nice alarm clock Summary: 2 Stars
This clock has a nice design, easy to use and doesn't take up a lot of night stand space. But in order to see the clock at night when you hit the light button you have to be significantly higher than the clock. For some reason the LCD display is not visible when the backlight is on unless you are at least 30 degrees higher than the clock. Since our nightstand is level with the bed, it makes reading the time at night impossible.
