Digital camera reviews of Shure EA306 Triple Flange Sleeves for E3c, E3g, E4c, E4g, E5c, I3, I4c, E3c-n and E4c-n modelsDigital camera Review: 3-way flanges Summary: 4 Stars
Worth it. I wish they shipped with the E3c's. I trimmed off the end for my ears. My wife left all three flanges for herself.
Digital camera Review: A must have Summary: 5 Stars
This product is a must have for your Shure earphones. Once you use this with the earphones you will not want to use the headphones without, it just takes a little getting used to.
Digital camera Review: Absolutely Excellent - Summary: 5 Stars
I did not realize when I bought these that there were three pair in the package (as well as the earwax removal tool). I've been seeing how much sound these block in my "average" ears. So far, I've found it to be a lot. With music on at a mid-volume, I can't hear myself clap directly in front of my face. It's like a new pair of headphones.
I got the Shure E3's a little over a month and a half ago, and I haven't been satisfied. One ear came with a Large sized silicon fitting, and one was Medium. The large was too big for my ears (in fact, it kept coming off of the actual earphone and staying embedded in my ear, that's how tight it was!), and the medium was about right. These blow them out of the water. It's like a new pair of headphones.
If you have Shure E3s, I recommend at least trying them. Sure, they go deep into your ears, but they're triple-flange. That means there's basically 3x the sound isolation of the ones Shure includes. I figured they'd be worth it at $9 a pair, but at a third of that they're a steal.
Digital camera Review: Best sleeves for shure in-ear headphones Summary: 5 Stars
I use these with my Shure E3c's and they're great. They fit snug and are more comfortable over extended use than the clear or black rubber tips. I never got the full potential in bass from my E3c's until these arrived. The seal these offer is far superior to any of the other tips I've used before. Not really sure why Shure doesn't include these with the headphones; I would have started using these long ago if I had known what an improvement they create. Don't pay 27 dollars for 3 pair though. I found the same exact thing from a store on eBay for under $19 with free shipping. A little pricey for tips either way, but if you have Shure in-ear's that shouldn't matter. They are worth it.
Digital camera Review: Does not fit the E2c Summary: 4 Stars
These are great sleeves, but they do not fit on the E2c's (the flange has too small of an opening).
