Digital camera Review: Armband: not what I was looking for

I recently purchased a Sansa e260 for the purpose of using it at the gym, as it is smaller and lighter than my main mp3 player. I saw this silicone case as a means to protect my Sansa from wear and tear, and I also hoped to use the armband to wear my Sansa while working out. While the silicone case does a fine job of protecting the player from scratches, the armband didn't work very well for the gym.
The armband itself is elastic and quite comfortable, and it fit very well around my arm. Unfortunately, the armband is attached to the case simply by looping it through 2 holes in the back of the silicone case. These holes exposed the back of the player, so this means that the back of the player was basically resting against my arm.
As a result, when I began to sweat, the moisture would seep through the holes in the silicone skin and my Sansa got wet. In addition, the silicone would trap the moisture under the case, so I would have to take the player out of the case to make sure it dried. Somehow, I don't think this was very good for my player, so I had to order a different case that doesn't have holes in the back that allow sweat to seep in.
The silicone skin is not a bad product, but if you are someone who was planning to use this case specifically to use the armband for working out, you may want to find something else. The included lanyard work for some, and others may be fine simply holding their player in their hand, but I definitely prefer using an arm band, and this one just simply didn't deliver.
