Digital camera Review: Doesnt fit very well on Nikon caps

My Nikon D3100 lens cap doesn't really have an area big enough for the "sticky" tab to fit on this and still look professional (looks like a giant sticker covering my Nikon logo); so that's why the 3 stars, other than that seems to do fine for now. I'd prefer to be able to stash the lens cap somewhere that's more out of the way other than dangling from the camera personally... It was a total waste of money. The length is too short especially for a 28-135mm zoom lens on my Canon 20D.
As a result of its short length, I didn't have anything to use to protect my lens cap. A week after receiving the cap keeper and not being able to use it, the lens cap on my lens fell off somewhere in never-neverland. Guess what, not only did I throw my money away on the lens cap keeper, I now have to buy a new lens cap for my lens. What a bummer!

What a great idea, unless you are going somewhere hot, like Africa. Once you get somewhere where there is heat, the adhesive softens and the product fails. I bought this to use on lense caps while on safari in Africa and only by extreme luck, I didn't lose my lense cap. I realized the string was dangling where my lense cap should have been and stood up in the safari landcruiser and my lense cap just happened to still be sitting on the top of the vehicle. Would I purchase these again, probably not!Digital camera Review: Good value for money
