Digital camera Review: After 8 days, I'm still waiting for the light.
Summary: 1 Stars

I ordered this IR light on July 26th. It shipped from Campbellsville KY on July 27th. Campbellsville is 11 driving hours from my house and I'm still waiting as of August 4th. The package shipped USPS with a tracking number that is invalid according to the USPS site. I'm starting to wonder if I got ripped off.Sima SL-20IR Night vision Video Light (Black)

Digital camera Review: Battery Life Sux / Distance Sux
Summary: 1 Stars

I bought these with the thought that I could get as good a view as they advertise (see pictures on the packaging) and it is nothing like that. The image is horrible and the battery life is horrible. I really wish I had never bought them. Save yourself some trouble and get a IR flood light of the same frequency that runs on 115 like this one [...].

Digital camera Review: Battery chrage is too Short
Summary: 4 Stars

The rechargeable battery seems to have a very short charge life. To compensate I had to buy more than one. This way I can replace one with another. It takes a long time to charge too. It takes 3-4 hours to give them a good charge and the battery then only lasts 20-30 minutes tops. If you are recording in the dark for an hour you will need 2 or 3 units.

Digital camera Review: Beware!
Summary: 1 Stars

This IR Light would be okay if you could use it with the wall plug powering it. Sadly, you can't. You can only use the plug to charge the internal battery. The battery life is less than 30 minutes. Waste of money.

Digital camera Review: Bit overpriced for the capability
Summary: 3 Stars

The light was okay, but not exactly what the ad claims. The distance it illuminates is about 15 feet, maybe 20, with the battery at full strength Forget about using outdoors, unless you use multiple lights. At Gettysburg Battlefield, it was almost useless. Battery life was about 20-25 minutes, then about a two hour recharge. At half the price, the light would be worth it, but with limited availablity on similar products, the choices are few.
