This is avery good product. It works very good for the price paid. The batteries charge in about three hours. This will give one hour of light. That is a good ratio for the lighting. I use it for a night vision scope. When there is no moon light,this tool fits the bill.It will light up a whole field for night viewing. I do not know how it works on a camcorder or iR photography.I will be soon to find out as I will buy a camera for this.

This light works very well. You have to use it with a camcorder which has good night vision, though. I was not able to use it with my JVC. My older Sony, however, has NightShot and the light works so well with it, that a pitch black room becomes "bright". My only other complaint is that it only runs for about 45 mins on a charge and does not accept batteries.Digital camera Review: Nice Item.

This item works works very well for providing camcorder night vision, and for $45 is much cheaper than most other night vision options. The only downfall is the battery life. It takes about 3 hours to fully charge, and only gives you 45 - 60 minutes of use before needing recharged. It will not work while the charger is attached, and it has a internal non-replaceable battery. I will be using this item for all night paranormal investigations, and the short usage time will be a problem. If they could give this thing a better power source, it would be a amazing item!Digital camera Review: Nice Product

I ordered two of these. They charge fairly quick, they come with a bracket and charger. The included bracket is a plus! I purchsed these lights to attach to my Sony super night shot camcorder for paranormal use. I tested the item in a huge flat cemetery and it works great! Another great feature on this item is they have slots to where you can connect more of these lights to each other on the sides and top. Good "light", works great in a dark indoor environment, however more units would be needed for outdoor filming.
I may buy more in the future. Contrary to other complaints, if you first charge according to instructions, and charge right before use, the unit has lasted me for a full hour.
