I am currently (or at least in this moment of typing) living in Spain and it is functioning fine with my computer. I use it about everyday and have not had any problems. Heats up a bit, but other than that no problems. I think in Spain the outlets give out 250 volts, because that's what adapters here say they handle, which is indeed about 10 more volts than it's supposed to handle, but it seems to be handling it quite well.Digital camera Review: Germany Trip

We used this on our recent trip to Germany. No issues, my wife used it with here lower voltage hair straightener. We also used it to charge our small electronics. This converter has a convenient feature with a 1-2 foot cord. This allowed us to place the converter box on the table, sink, nightstand, etc and still plug in when the receptacle was difficult to reach (very common in Europe).Digital camera Review: Gets the job done

This product was just what I needed to power a slightly heavy duty battery charger for an electric drill. It isn't capable of stepping down a great deal of amperage but it was enough for the 200 watts, 120V charger.
Nice price too.

These are a good deal, but they blow out easily. We bought 15 because we were relocating to Europe. On the first use with a couple items that were well under the allowable voltage they blew out. There was no reason. I think the company gets you because you are stuck over sees using these and then you won't bother to return them. That said they are nice small size and easy for small electronics in bedrooms etc...
