Wow, this system didn't cost much, but provides so much entertainment. It is definitely worth every penny. Comes with a sturdy mic and a second slot for another one. I wish I could find the mic similar to this on the web. The Sony one that we bought to go with it doesn't work half as good. This unit never had a problem and we've had it for 6 months and used it a lot. Besides it's easy to find CDGs anywhere now. Our favourites are Disney Karaoke Hilary Duff, Lizzy McGuire, Hannah Montana, High School Musical(red) and Zoom Party Superhits collection. You can find any artist on CDGs now. So don't hesitate, this is a great quality item and the music is easy to find. The modes include echo and there are separate volume controls for the CD and Mics.Digital camera Review: Wow...this actually works!

I bought this for my 8 year old...not really expecting too much. We were pleasantly surprised, and have (all) been having a lot of fun with it. It is a smaller version of a very nice machine that we rented (for $75/day) several months ago. It seems like a good value for the price!Digital camera Review: did not work

the machine sent did not play. I waited, reset it, even put in the demo cd that was sent with the machine...did not play. looked nice. i was definately excited to receive it, but can't tell you how it work-because it didn't.Digital camera Review: does not work at all

My wife purchased one of these units before Christmas.
The intent was to use it during a family get together after Christmas.
When it arrived we hooked it up to our home tv, it did not work, the audio was fine but the words on the screen were all garbeled and illegible.
We took it with us the the party anyway, hoping it might work on a different tv.
It didn't, it had no video at all.
While playing around with the cables it was noticed that the unit would work only if the center pin on the RCA plug was touching the outer part of the receptacle on the unit.
In other words the RCA receptacle inside the unit must be wired backwards.
I tried to call the phone number listed in the directions but it was "no longer in service".
Sorry but we would not recommend this unit to anyone
