Digital camera Review: Mostly Garbage

They reproduce sound. So I guess they work, but god, they are the most uncomfortable things I have ever put in my ears. I have used the Skull Candy Ink'd in ear headphones for a while now and thought these would be a good upgrade. Boy was I wrong. They sound about the same, if not slightly worse to me, and even using the smallest ear tip (the same ones on my Ink'd headphones) they DON"T FIT! They now reside in my desk draw along with several other failed sets of headphones.Digital camera Review: Nice / Good Sound / Nice packaging

About 1 hour of listening. Good sound, equal to my well used Bose In Ear. I got the Full Metal Jacket model. I'd buy them again, and this model is one I haven't seen in big box stores, so Amazon is a good choice.
One thing I change is to put R and L in a more visible place on the ear part. It is etched inside (or underneath) the rubber ear bud. You can't quickly see it, and there is no other way to make out which is right or left.

So I bought these to replace the Apple-standard headset for my iPhone, because Apple buds don't fit in my ears. In the paragraph headed "Walk and Talk at the Same Time", Amazon promises, "new for 2009", the addition of a sleek in-line microphone to the entire Full Metal Jacket line from Skullcandy. This is important for iPhone users, because the microphone also has a multi-function button that pauses or advances audio playback, and allows the user to simultaneously pause playback and answer incoming phone calls.
Guess what? There is no microphone. I can't review the sound quality because I never put them in my ears. To Amazon's credit, they made it very easy to return the headphones, which I replaced with the V-Moda Vibe Duo Earbud Headset (Chrome, iPhone Compatible) (for which see separate review). However, although the customer service person I spoke with at Amazon was very helpful and careful to ask me to point out the inaccurate promotional text, I find today, two weeks later, that it's still there. Caveat Emptor.

After reading a review in Consumers Reports I ordered these. Great price from Amazon and fast delivery ....... great cool color (silver). Only complaint is too much treble (usually I like more treble than bass)....I was able to fix by using the iPod equalizer to reduce the treble......! These weren't to bad at all, my set did come with the foam buds unlike some other people have written.
The good things:
Descent Bass
Good overall sound from low to mid level volume
Nice thick Cord(tho some don't like this i'm sure)
Fairly comfortable to wear for long time period
The Bad:
Cord while nice and durable feeling is fairly bulky and can be felt tugging at your ears.
They require alot of moving around and refitting into your ears to get that sweet spot for sound.
At higher volumes the treble can be excruciating, reducing treble in eq helps, but I can't seem to find that sweet spot it's either all or nothing.
Didn't dampen to much sound, which i'm used to with in ear headphones.
Pouch would have been much nicer than the bulky zipper case they include, as when I remove my set from the case the foam buds are generally twisted and contorted in odd shapes and I have to wait for them to fluff back out in order to get them to set right in my ears.
Overall:
If your someone who doesn't require alot of noise reduction, and don't have to listen to your music blasted full volume. I'd definetly suggest these for the price. Tho if you are looking for something to jog with i'm not sure that the heavy cord would accommodate that very well.
