Digital camera Review: 2009 FMJ Review W/Mic

I have owned a pair of sure E2C's and V-Moda Vibes and after I lost the Vibes at the gym I decided to pick up some new headphones. These are the best head phones I have ever had hands down. After listening to my friend's Skullcandy I was very impressed by the sound of the . First I bought a pair of Skullcandy Asym, which I was not thrilled with the way they sit in your ear they popped out during running. I returned them and bought the 2009 Skullcandy FMJ's from Skullcandy in the local mall. I decided to buy them from a local dealer because I was not sure if the ones offered on Amazon were the latest model. Mine included the Silicone and Comply tips both of which provide excellent comfort and sound insulation. The earbuds have not fallen out of my ears and they are comfortable to wear for long periods of time. The earphones, cord and jack all feel like extremely durable metal. The tips are cheaply and easily replaceable. The mic works extremely well and it adds a nice weight to hold the cords in place on your chest. The mic features a button that with my Iphone can answer and release calls as well as pause/unpause music. Tapping it two times skips to the next song. It does not feature volume controls unfortunately. The sound is incredibly rich and has great bass. In my personal opinion they sound much better then the shure E2C and Vibes.

-Every piece feels durable
-Cool design
-Very minimal "heartbeat" effect

Cons
None so far, but I will update if I find any flaws.

Overall I would say these are a must buy if you are in the market for earbuds. These are fantastic for working out. I do not recommend using tips in both ears for phone conversations when driving, that is not safe in my opinion because they block so much noise.
