Digital camera reviews of Skullcandy INK'D Earbuds (Dark Grey)Digital camera Review: Bad A$$ Little Buds Summary: 5 Stars
These things rock! I wouldn't have known about this company if it wasn't for a relative, but I'm very glad he showed me. I had tried a different brand of earbuds, about the same in price and these are definately the superior brand. They sound amazing for such little pieces of technology stuffed into my outer brain area. Go buy some, now!
Digital camera Review: Bad Sound Quality Summary: 2 Stars
I got these headphones as a pair that I could beat up and wear to and from work, while exercising, and so on. I have a nice pair of headphones at home. I didn't expect these to sound like those, but I wanted something relatively decent. I must admit that I didn't read the review specifics, but when I saw 200+ reviews on Amazon with a four star average, I thought that these would do the trick. (Should have read the specifics.)
I was shocked as to how poorly they sounded. I didn't give it one star only because the albums that are absolutely perfectly mastered sound relatively OK, and on an off-chance that my unit itself was bad, although I don't think that this is the case given some other similar reviews.
As others have commented, treble sounds muffled and distorted. And by distorted, I don't mean "good" distortion used in hard rock or heavy metal. It almost sounds like using a bad speaker that's crackling.
There is also a very slight possibility that they may sound better with a different player, but I honestly doubt it (I am using an Ipod).
I am going to have to caution against these.
Digital camera Review: Bangin' Summary: 4 Stars
OK guys, heres a review from nobody... these things are proply beltaz!!! the sound quality is unparalelled by any other in ear headphones, i owned a pair of sony's way back when, they were 90 british pounds, uncomfortable and the bass was overwhelming. i have owned various pairs of cheaper in-ears and most of the time they were tinny and near unbearable to listen to on high volume. i have owned a few pairs of neckbands. . . sony and phillips, the phillips being the better of the two in the same price range, but both allowing far too much outside noise in, absolutely no good for public transport.
Alright, on to the SC's they get four stars because 4 and 3/4 isnt an option. the only beef i have is that i keep losing the smallest size earpiece(my fault but you cant just buy replacements, therefore i am on my third set [gona glue it this time.])
with these things in, you can listen to your music at half the volume of any neckband headphones and not hear a damn thing anyone is saying to you and they wont hear an annoying mosquito-ish noise.
the sound quality is something you would expect from a high dollar pair and although sound can travel through the cable during heavy movement, i barely notice it.
i would advise not to pay more than 12 dollars for them cos they are probably on sale at your nearest electronics store for the same, if not less. (last pair, sam goody $8)
Honestly... someone you know will probably have a pair, give em a try and you will be impressed.
hope this helps, i really cant sy enough good things about em.
peace.
Digital camera Review: Best Bang for the Buck Summary: 5 Stars
I have researched several earbuds over a two year period and have found this to be the best earbud you can find under $100.00. These earbuds can be used to listen to anything from rap/rock to jazz/classicals. By design the wires will from time to time conduct sounds by way to too much movement during music playback. I would not wear during a workout. Moderate activities to none would be best while using these earbuds. These earbud are sound isolating and those wearing these earbuds should be more aware of any surrounding dangers.
Digital camera Review: Best Earbuds Ever Purchased Summary: 5 Stars
Before purchasing these earbuds, i had never heard of the Skullcandy brand. After some research and reading some reviews, i made my decision of either the smokin or the ink'd. the ink'd had better reviews so i went with them. After trying out these headphones, i have to say that i am overly satisfied with my purchase and would recomend these earbuds who love to actually be able to hear the bass in their music while not having to listen to those pesky noises all around you.
