Digital camera reviews of Skullcandy INK'D Earbuds (Dark Grey)

Digital camera Review: Great Value
Summary: 5 Stars

Great product, great price; can't rate longevity - only had a month. Have to question why longevity is even on the list when Amazon wants you to give review so soon after purchase.

Digital camera Review: These are great for short term use.
Summary: 4 Stars

They work really well and look kind of cool, but they really can't handle the stress of being used a little roughly.

Digital camera Review: Great sound, but poor wires
Summary: 1 Stars

I HATE LONG REVIEWS, so I'll get to the point. This is my 2nd pair, 1st pair got warrantied. Great sounds, but same problem, wiring that shorts out very easily by the jack. You'll see other headphones that advertise thick wires for this reason. I'm currently having a difficult time communicating with SKULLCANDY about warranty issues.
PROS: great sound for the money.
CONS: they'll short out over time and warranty communications with Skullcandy.

P.S. I also have Skullcandy audio for my snow helmet, jack short out in the first season.

Digital camera Review: Skullcandy continues to be my 1st choice
Summary: 5 Stars

Ever since I got my first pair of skullcandy ear bud headphones years ago, I have continued to find nothing better that I liked for the price when it comes to comfort, sound quality, and noise dampening. All headphones come with three sizes of ear buds, so you're pretty much guaranteed to find one that fits just right and they do an excellent job of blocking outside noise. (I've even used them before without them being plugged into anything when I needed to block out sound and focus on something.) The only downside is that if the ear buds come off (such as you're pulling them out of a tight pants pocket or something) then can be easily lost and can be difficult to find. But this would be true of any ear bud headphones, I suppose. I have had two pairs now that eventually developed problem in the headphone speakers (one or both of the speakers failed), but it took 8-12 months for that to happen with repeated use and for what I pay for them and the frequency with which I use them and haul them around, that's not too bad.

Digital camera Review: Overall Very Good!
Summary: 4 Stars

Overall, these are great headphones. For being a person who knows nothing about audio, I definitely notice a quality difference in sound. They are awesome. The three sizes of inserts are very useful. On my last flight I used them and it blocked out almost all sound. That was so nice!

I would like to echo the complaint of others that using these while working out are not great. Whenever the cord hits something it makes an audible thump. It's not loud, but there. However, my husband is not bothered by it.

Either way, for 9 dollars you really can't go wrong! I think they are worth it for travel alone (holy cheaper than bose, batman!) and if the thump doesn't bother you, they have stayed in both of our ears during hard workouts just fine.
