Digital camera reviews of Skullcandy (Product Out Of Date, Newer Version Available) INK'D Earbuds (Black)

Digital camera Review: Acceptable sound, don't fit in ear well
Summary: 1 Stars

I bought these earbuds on sale, and I'm glad I did, or else I would have been very disappointed. They come with 3 different sizes of rubber-like ear fittings. Even the smallest set makes it feel like I'm trying to shove an ink pen in my ear. Perhaps that's what they mean by "Ink'd"? Who knows.

After shoving them as far into my ear as possible in order to stay in, I had a mediocre 5 minutes of music listening. The sound quality sounded the same as the earbuds that came with my Samsung YP-K3 mp3 player. After about 2 songs, or about 5 minutes, the earbuds were really hurting my ears. About halfway into the third song, they promptly popped out and fell into my lap. Needless to say, I'm again in search of a good pair of headphones or earbuds.

Digital camera Review: Amazing Bang-for-the-Buck. Great Quality.
Summary: 5 Stars

These earbuds are the exact definition of Bang for your Buck.

Pros: Great Bass, very comfortable fit. Very affordable, attractive design. Functional in every aspect. You can turn down your current MP3 player's volume, as these headphones can be cranked up a lot. Comes in many colors, though I found that Black matched most clothing. Comes with a few sets of rubber ear-tips. Lifetime warranty. Fit very well in (my) ear canal.

Cons: Cable is not exactly thick, so I'm not sure how rugged they will be. Only time will tell, but their construction (as of now) looks very sturdy. Not great for physical activity.

Overall, these ear buds have to be one of the BEST I have used, and by far are the best value. Definitely buy them, even if you are a tad on the edge between these or another pair.

Digital camera Review: Amazing For The Price.
Summary: 5 Stars

Skull candy always makes good headphones, and this is a great example. These are very clear, with an amazing bass equalizer on it. It fits fine in your ear don't listen to other reviews, it's perfect. The sound is the best part, it's great. That's what's important after all, right?

Digital camera Review: Amazing Quality, Bad Design
Summary: 4 Stars

The sound quality is, indeed, comparable to products by Shure. However, the earbuds do NOT have marking to tell you which ear they go in which is outrageous (!!). I had to take some nail polish (DIY) and mark the left earbud on the inside. Also, the rubber earplugs tend to slide back and are not loose. The right one comes off and gets stuck in my ear... but the quality is SO good, and the price is SO low (I got them for $9 at F.Y.E.) that this minor inconvenience is absolutely worth it.

Digital camera Review: Amazing for the price
Summary: 5 Stars

I really bought these just to see if this style of earbud with the silicon sleeves would work for me - but I was amazed with the sound quality for the price. I have a pair of Etymotic er6s that are just incredible in terms of clarity - but they really only shine when used with an external amplifier (I have CMoy I got off of eBay) - and they are not comfortable at all. I need to get custom earpieces for them.

But the Inkd are not only terrific for general listening when I'm out and about, they are very comfortable too (base is a bit loose, but still pretty good and clarity is great).

I'm going to try their Full Metal jacket ones next.
