Digital camera Review: Bad sound quality

I only kept them for 30 minutes before I ended up returning them. The sound quality was horrible. The music had a very hollow sound. Very similar to someone being on their cellphone, but you can tell they're in the bathroom, or going through a tunnel. Now there is a little button on the earbuds that when pressed the sound quality improves, however once you let go the sound quality diminishes. I bought these and the jBuds J2 during the holiday sale. I was very dissatisfied with the j2's. They were lacking the bass and the highs were really distorted. The Skullcandy Ink'd earbuds have the bass the j2's were lacking and for less than $10. The highs and mids are okay on these out of the box but they are getting better as they are being broken in. I am a big fan of all types of music but I needed some buds that had some bass to satisfy my hip-hop moods. These do the trick. You can't beat them for under $10. As far as quality, they are decent. The wires seems a little flimsy but I can't complain for the price. Just be careful not to tug or put stress on the connection ends too much and they should last longer than you would expect for $10.Digital camera Review: Best Budget Earbuds

These are by far the best earbuds/headphones I've ever purchased. I got these for $10 at a local FYE store and they are totally worth the money. The sounds are very crisp and loud. I literally feel the base of my music (a lot of hard rock and heavy metal). It took some time to figure out which side is left/right. The skullcandy label on the cord splitter is how you tell which side is which. The label is always on the front and from there it is simple to figure out. These are simply the best earbuds ever!!! They are totaly noise-cancelling with great bass and crisp clear sound quality. I first bought the SkullCandy Ink'd Smokin' Buds in December and at first I thought they were a little too loud for my ears. With my old headphones I had the volume on my mp3 player on full volume,which is 40,because the headphones simply weren't that good in sound quality. So when i plugged in the Skullcandy Buds I reduced the volume to 25 and the music was still about as loud as it had been at 40 volume and it sounded much more clear than my old headphones. I would recommend these Ear Buds to anyone who listens to music on the go or anywhere else. I don't like ear buds, so I'm going to be upfront about that from the start. My husband does though, and we listen to music a lot.
Generally he uses the ear buds that come with my ipods since I won't, but last year I bought him a pair of Skull Candy ear buds on a whim. He loved them. He's slightly hard of hearing, and the way you can fit them with the soft silicon covers cuts out a lot of ambient sound, and the sound quality is really good in this price range which makes them perfect for him, usually he loses his ear phones or breaks them. That pair lasted him a year.
I got him a set of these to replace them, and tried them out myself. They don't make an ear bud user out of me because the sensation for me was unpleasantly like the ear popping you get on airplanes, but the sound quality was excellent, much better than I expected in this price range.
He's very happy with them, and I will absolutely buy more of these for him in the future.
