Digital camera Review: A couple problems with durability and design

I bought these for traveling, and chose not to get ear buds because of their tendency to get shorts in the wires. I wanted something loud, with bass and that could be folded easily so that I don't need to wear them all the time or pack them up when I am on the move. The sound quality is great, and they even double as small speakers for loud songs (i'm partial to metal) so that's a plus when I'm skating.
The only issues are in the construction quality.
I have had these headphones for over two months now, and today the input jack has given out.
The right headphone doesn't work anymore, which is probably because of it's a vertical jack, not an L shaped one.
I hope that they give me a free replacement, since this isn't really an issue of aggressive use.
Other problems are with the folding design. The part where the headphones bridge over the crown of the head have a hinge so that they fold in half. Unfortunately when they are around my neck and I pull them up on my head, my hair almost always gets stuck in them (almost always) and pulls it out. It hurts! The hinge just catches some hairs from my neck (i have kind of long hair) and clasps it. It's really aggravating sometimes! The other problem is that they fall off my head quite a bit. I'll be leaning forward, and they'll just slip off! This is problematic for skating (and biking sometimes) but not snowboarding.
I do like their flexibility and all the hinges which allow them to fold up in several ways so I do not need to be too careful when putting them in a stuffed backpack.
I wont know if I wholly recommend this product till the warranty covers the input jack problem. If the warranty covers this malfunction of the headphones, I highly suggest them! If they don't cover it, I'll find a company who will, because that's the most common malfunction of any headphone. I hope this was somewhat helpful to you. I feel a little better now after venting because they just broke today... The end.
