Digital camera reviews of Skullcandy Smokin Bud In Ear S2SBBR-BZ (Black Rubberized)

Digital camera Review: Not the best
Summary: 3 Stars

These were a gift for our daughter. She says that none of the adapter sizes fit well in her ears. Also the sound is more tinny than with other buds she's used.

Digital camera Review: Not worth it.
Summary: 2 Stars

I totally hate the feel of the buds, it's uncomfortable and doesn't stay in place. The weight of the wires are practically heavier than the buds, the earbuds fall out constantly.

Don't waste your money!

Digital camera Review: Poor Quality
Summary: 1 Stars

I've had these for 3 months and the wires at the end of the cord where it connects to the device just ripped open exposing the wires and the sound immediatley "Crumpled out" and I hear nothing but a faint sound. 1 thing I learned is that skullcandy cares about looks over quality. Seems like they're relaying on ppl to buy their name and flash of the headphones while they only last for 3 months...Spend the extra $20 more dollars and go with a brand that cares about quality.

Digital camera Review: Poor sound quality
Summary: 1 Stars

There is nothing above 10kHz or so. Totally dead sound. No clarity. The highs cannot be recovered even with heavy equalizer adjustment. The bass seems fine by itself, but I think it becomes garbled in the presence of other sounds or body motion. The warranty is useless - read their website before buying. The buds make a loud painful noise as they settle and seal just after you've inserted them. And while you're walking, the bouncing causes distracting shifting sounds much more than non-sealed earphone designs.

Digital camera Review: Save your money
Summary: 3 Stars

Having been an avid user of Skullcandy for the past year and a half, I was more than eager to try their other headphone/earbud products. This is my first purchase other than the Ink'd earbuds and I have to say save your money and go for the $16 Ink'd earbuds. For me , these earbuds don't cut it. While the Ink'd required you to only turn your volume up to a bare minimum for clear awesome sound, these require you turn your volume up a bit more, even with the volume on the wires turned up all the way. The cable is a bit too long and can easily become snagged on something and ripped out of your ears. The cable is also very thin and more than likely, when caught on something, to rip apart easily. The sound of the Ink'd buds sounds clear and incredible, while on these, the sound presented is pretty generic and nothing special. If you listen to either of these sets, you can totaly tell the difference. I also have the Hesh brand headphones and am going to purchase the Skullcrusher set. I recommend you stick with the cheaper Ink'd buds than these things.
