Easy to set-up. Easy to use. Downloaded software to my Blackjack II and it works pretty good. Need a good cellular signal, though, to help prevent stuttering of video. Can control my Dish Network receiver from my cell-phone!
Tried Sony's LocationFree. It requires a lot of upload bandwidth and was more difficult to set-up than the SlingBox. LocationFree doesn't work on Windows Mobile 6. But the SlingBox does!!!

I waited and waited and waited for Mac OS to be released by Slingbox. This company is long on promise but doesn't understand that words are supposed to mean something. Finally, they release a version for Mac OS 10 and I bought one on Amazon,com. It turns out that it was for Tiger only and I had OS10,3,9 not 10.4 required. So I had to pop for Tiger, which is in itself very nice, but I'm still bitter at Slings "communication" or lack there of. The product itself is awesome. I am stunned that something like this exists. After my trials and tribulations with an inept marketing plan, I must say I love my Slingbox.Digital camera Review: Best device ever!

This little box solved all my problems. I wanted to watch tv upstairs without buying another digital box. I was able to go out and watch tv from other locations... like a restaurant with wireless connection. I coupled it with the buffalo ethernet wireless bridge as recommended by someone I met on the internet in order to connect the slingbox to my wireless internet home network. He helped me set everything up. I think although the instructions say it is easy, it still would have required someone with more expertise to help me out. It was not that difficult, but not written out as easy in the instructions as it could have been. I highly recommend this product!!! How good it streams depends on your computer and the internet connection you have. It sometimes doesn't stream perfectly, but it is still good!
