It's well known that the Slingbox doesn't have HDMI input/output, just component. Unfortunately, the Tivo HD has a well-known issue where it refuses to play any content (even unprotected content) if an HDMI device is plugged in and that HDMI device is turned off. When this happens the Tivo will display an error on all other outputs (including the Slingbox output).
This means you'll either need to leave the TV on if you want to use the Slingbox, unplug the HDMI device when not using the television, or change to component cabling for your TV. For most individuals the quality difference is negligible. Unfortunately my setup has HDMI cabling wired through my walls and I didn't want to go through the process of running component cabling through the walls as well.
Just something to be aware of; if you currently have an HDMI setup you may wish to order an additional longer component cable to run to your TV.

I bought the HD PRO after talking to their pre purchase support number and was assured that the computer, modem I have would work with this Sling Box. Well it causes my IE8 browser to crash all the time and I can't get it working. I called their support number and found it has been disconnected. I tried using their chat service and I got an answer but before I get half way through typing my question they respond with have a nice day and close out the conversation. This happened twice, even after on the second convrsation I had asked them to have a little patients.

This is a highly reviewed product and, no doubt, works well. I received one as a gift and I simply do not understand why I would ever use it!!! I watch Hi Def TV in places that have, uh, Hi Def TVs!!! I cannot imagine watching TV on my phone ( yes, I have seen people doing this while DRIVING!!!), and can't figure a decent application. Maybe some of your customers can help me see the light!!! Otherwise.....I vote CLUNKER!!!

When it works -it works well. When it doesn't - it's a big frustration. You can waste hours trying to get it to work.
The customer service is the worst I've ever encountered. Long waits on the phone - only 90 days of service.
They censor their forums so that customers who have had terrible experiences cannot post their warnings.
Do yourself a favor and stay away from this crappy product.
Digital camera Review: Error 202 !! Summary: 1 Stars
Worked good for 8 months Then error 202 over and over. Sling tech support is horrible. This problem seemes to have began around Nov. 2010. Go check slings support forums for google search Sling error 202. I am not alone and hate I have lost my 300 bucks.
