I recently took a company posting in the UK. Set up my Slingbox Pro in the US with my digital cable and Tivo. Worked like a charm! Now my family can still enjoy up to date US TV! Slingbox' auto optimization makes the streaming seem real time and the picture quality on my Macbook Pro is great. Connecting the Mac using a DVI to HDMI cable gives great picture quality on my Samsung Digital LCD TV. Worth every pennny!Digital camera Review: Fantastic and Easy to Use

The Slingbox Pro is a super product that simply let you watch your home televison on your laptop/notebook (or whatever type of computer you use) wherever you may be in the world. If you have an internet connection, you have your home television and all of your channels at your fingertips. Very easy to use...and somewhat easy to install. If you have any installation questions, Slingbox techs are available to help.
I'm definitly happy with my purchase. And Amazon has it a price lower than everyone else!!!

I received this as a gift and was sceptical at first. I thought about returning it as I wasn't sure how much I would use it. I went ahead and hooked it up and this is the greatest invention since maybe the wheel. Maybe not that great, but it is a cool gadget. It was very easy to hook up to my Dish DV and a dvd player. Software installation took a little while as there was an upgrade that needed to be installed. Configuration is easy and takes minutes. On a newer laptop this thing works very well on a fast connection. I took it to work where the connection is junk and it still worked well but was a little jerky and pixelated at full screen. I am very happy with the Slingbox and can now watch my DVR when i get stuck out of town.Digital camera Review: GREAT Buy
