I've had the frame for about 1 week and have only played SD memory cards from it. So far I like it. Plus I'm able to save on prints.

Digital camera Review: nice picture but can't get the sound to accompany slideshow

I like the looks, the general ease of operation, but I really wanted to show slides accompanied by the sound, and just can't seem to make it happen. I'm technically quite adept, so I don't think that this is the operator. I can get the sound to play alone, or a slideshow to play alone, but when I try to make the setting to do both simultaneously, it just won't do it. Other than that this is a good value with a good picture.
I'm adding this bit to the review having used this for a while. I still stand by my former comments, but need to add that I am dismayed that the viewer doesn't read all of my jpg files, but instead puts up a big red X on way too many files that it cannot read. I know all of my files are jpgs, so this is most annoying. Now, I simply find an image I like and keep it lit on that image, and change the image once every couple of days or so, and enjoy it better this way.

Very easy to operate. I used windows explorer to drag and drop photos into sd type memory. Inserted the SD memory into the frame and flipped the switch. Worked without a hitch. After repeated compliments from the grandparents on EVERY visit since we purchased ours last summer...our choice for a Christmas gift for both sets of grandparents who have everything is easy this year. The larger screen is a must so the additional cost is worth it. I bought the 105E. After several months it failed. I found another 12volt adapter, and tried it and it worked. Within 1/2 hour it too failed. Got another adapter that worked, and it too failed after about 1/2 hour. Obviously a defect in the unit. Called support, and they told me my diagnosis seems correct but it only has a 90 day warranty, so all I can really do is throw it away. After paying about $100 this wasn't the answer I wanted.
