Digital camera Review: Couldn't make it work

My wife noticed right off that the color values were off, as well as being over saturated. Meanwhile I was trying to get the remote to work. The remote didn't match the description in the instructions, and most of the buttons seemed not to do anything at all. There were also controls on the side of the frame, but they seemed to switch the display language to Chinese, which required a restart to get out of. I returned it.Digital camera Review: Ed

Product works just fine. Instructions are a little vague and someone without computer skills will find it difficult to figure out a few steps in setup, etc. Box says it will hold up to 2000 pictures but I cannot get it to load more than about 150. I assume if I used a lower resolution on my camera that it would use less memory and therefore would allow more pictures to be loaded on the frame. However, who wants to take pictures at a low resolution!
Bottom line is: it was worth the price paid but probably would not buy it again based on the few pictures that can be uploaded.

I really love this digital frame. It met ALL my expectations and more. The picture quality is fantastic, it played my uploaded movies and songs
to the max. The ease on being able to add or delete content was a snap. My sister had bought me a 7" frame some 2 or 3 years ago (first one I've ever had) and it does not even compare to this one. So now I'm buying her this one for her upcoming birthday.

I purchased this frame for my mother who is almost 80 and does not have great eyesight. The photo quality is amazing and I am very pleased with the frame (10.4" size). The set-up took longer than I would have liked and I am pretty tech saavy. I think the best bet in set-up is to upload the software from the frame and add photos to that folder. If you decide that you don't want a particular photo in the group or you want to add a photo you need to add or delete from the folder on your computer and then upload the entire folder again to the frame, this replaces all the photos on the frame with the ones in the folder. It was the only way I could find to add or delete a singe photo, which isn't really a big deal since all the others are still in the folder from the previous update. The brochure could be better detailed in how to set the auto on-off timer, etc. I found using the remote was the best way to set all of the fine details of the frame. Overall I am very pleased and happy with the product and the price.
