Digital camera Review: Excellent Frame

I bought this for my husband for Christmas to use at work. He loves it!! I can send him an email full of pictures and he just uploads them. It's a very pretty frame as well, it looks like a normal picture frame. A wood edge with a matte, and the size is perfect. You get a beautiful wooden frame for a great price. Pros: Great display quality, timed on and off settings, 128M of internal memory (was more than sufficient for my needs), fairly easy set-up, three picture transition speeds, mounting holes for wall mounting.
Cons: Wanted slower scroll of pics (I think slowest is about 8 seconds), no random shuffle option (scrolls in order they were put on the frame), description makes it sound like it takes multiple types of memory cards but only accepts SD. All things I probably could have discovered by reading product description or researched more thoroughly.
All in all I am very happy with this product for the price.

This product is horrible. It didn't work right out of the box. It froze after displaying about 5 photos and now refuses to recognize any photos from my SD card or photos I added directly from the computer to the internal memory. The tech support on the website and the user guide is terrible, and only says to make sure the photos are in the correct format, without even saying what the correct format is. I thought I was making a good choice when I read this frame was reccommended by Consumer Reports, but apparently I was wrong.Digital camera Review: For the Price, You Can't Beat It!

This digital photo frame, provided to me by the Amazon Vine program, is a good little item for gifts to relatives where you really don't want to break the bank. It's my second photo frame, and it performs well and holds as many photos as you can fit on your memory card. Here's my take on it:
PROS:
1. The dark brown wood frame with a (darkish) beige mat presents a clean, elegant look that's very nice for setting on a desk or coffee table.
2. The display is bright and shows photos to their best advantage.
3. You can set the brightness, contrast, and color to suit your taste.
4. I can see the pixels up close but not from a few feet away.
5. No need to turn the frame; vertical photos are shown correctly (although much smaller than horizontal ones).
CONS:
1. Packing was not dense enough to keep my frame from arriving with a dent in the wood.
2. Although the frame is 7 inches diagonally, the actual opening on my frame is 3 1/2 by 6 inches. This means that photos often display cropped in very odd ways. To deal with this, set your photo size on your image software (such as Photoshop), so that you, rather than the frame, decide the cropping.
Photo purists may be bothered by the low resolution this frame offers, but for the average user, this frame is a real deal for a low price.
Four stars!
