Digital camera reviews of Snap-N-Store SNS01617 CD Storage Box, 2 Pack (Black)

Digital camera Review: Frank
Summary: 4 Stars

While this product comes from a reputible company, is well constructed and had a fairly pleasing look, the one thing that I was a little dissappointed in, is the fact that the storage box was not quite as deep (tall) as it's double-wide counterpart. The double wide version of this unit is both wide enough and deep enough to accomodate the CD's both width wise and height wise. The single storage one is not. The lid to the unit does not fit down over the top of the box when CD's are turned up on end as it does in the double-wide unit. I purchased a double pack of these single units for friends after they seen my double-wide one. They were pleased with them just the same. Why the single wide unit is not quite as deep (tall) as the double wide, I don't know. I would suggest to the manufacturer that they correct the design flaw (in my mind) and make them deeper so the lid will fit down over the sides of the box more securely for transportation purposes.
I think carrying more than one at a time would proved difficult with these. I was slightly dissapointed is this product for that reason.

Digital camera Review: Good DVD/CD Storage
Summary: 5 Stars

This Review is for the: Snap-N-Store SNS01617 CD Storage Box, 2 Pack (Black)

If you have LOTS of DVD's/CD's this is the best to organize, categorize, and store them. I have been using these for ministry purposes since 2007 and the original boxes are still holding up. Of course I have them on a shelf etc... I access the DVD's/CD's about once a month to add to them and when I need to duplicate them to send out etc.... I currently have the cases stacked 3 rows about 4 cases high. For the price, these cannot be beat. I will definitely continue using these unless they stop making them.

Digital camera Review: Great Little Storage Container
Summary: 5 Stars

I was first surprised at the quality for the price. The idea of a snap-together style storage container that would actually be very sturdy had me a little aprehensive about purchasing this. But, for the price, I thought I would gamble and order these anyway. Such a simple idea, but they really do work. Hopefully this particular storage container will continue to be sold by Amazon, because I will be buying more in the future.

Digital camera Review: Great Space Saver
Summary: 5 Stars

This is a great way to store an entire CD or DVD collection in a single box. I freed up SO much shelf space by getting rid of my DVD cases! This will also be true if you use paper sleeves - or at least the thinner aftermarket cases - to replace your CDs' original jewel boxes.

For the perfectionists out there, I will say that when you snap these boxes together, they may not sit completely square. Neither of mine do. But close enough. For the convenience and space saving - including being able to collapse the boxes when you're not using them, this system can't be beat.

Also, for those who like to keep their collections in alphabetical or other order, this is MUCH more convenient than most binder or book systems, which can be a pain every time you add or remove a DVD from your collection. Consider the "Vaultz VZ01176 A to Z CD/DVD Storage File Guides - 26 per Box (Black)" if you're going alphabetical and want tabs for each letter. The tabs won't stand straight up without interfering with the box lid, but that won't be an issue unless you have the box completely full... which you probably wouldn't want to do anyways, because then there'd be no room to flip through the contents.

Digital camera Review: Great for NES Collectors!
Summary: 5 Stars

I have been looking for a place to store my ever-expanding NES game collection for years... Sure, I would love to have some nice shelving to display them all, but the truth is, I just do not have room right now. I have tried various types of sturdy plastic notes, but the problem is that they are all basically a trapezoidal shape... too wide at the top, too narrow at the bottom. The games rock around loosely inside, and the empty area on the sides is a waste of closet space.

Finally, I found these. They fit the size of a standard licensed NES game nearly perfectly, and fit most unlicensed games, also. They stack well, and I have never had one fall apart on me. They are also sturdy enough for the job. It was the answer I needed.

I am also about to try the Snap-N-Store CD boxes with two rows... I will review them as soon as I get them, as well.
