I have over 2000 discs to store, and this seemed to be the best way to do it without spindles. They are very lightweight on their own, but get fairly heavy when loaded with 300+ discs. They seem like they're pretty sturdy as long as you aren't moving them all over the place. Handling one box is harmless enough, but when I tried to slide a stack of 4 of them across the carpet, one of the snaps came undone. The fold down to just about an inch thick for storage themselves which is really handy. See my customer images in various stages of assembly.
