Digital camera reviews of Sonic Impact V-55 Portable Speaker System with LCD Screen and Remote for iPod (Black)Digital camera Review: Horrible, dont buy Summary: 1 Stars
I bought this so I could have a portable, slightly larger screen for watching videos and movie on my 30 gig video ipod. So I followed the instructions and nothing- just sound and a blue screen. When I went to the web site it said I had to buy a 50 dollar cable.(and the copyright date was 2008, so they by now could of make it say something like "This piece of crap wont work with your ipod, unless you shell out anothe 50 bucks") Apple or Sonic Image should offer a free cable or something to atleast make it work but no. It's practically robbery I have a $300 piece of crap that wont do anything unless I buy a $50 piece of rubber and copper. Dont buy this- even if you are getting it for something else dont buy it anyway, I would LOVE to see this company go under.

Digital camera Review: I wooted it. Summary: 4 Stars
I got this item from a Wootoff and at a nice little price of $35.
It has good picture quality (not the best in the world), great sound (actually... scratch that, amazing sound), and fits my Ipod video perfectly.
The buttons do not stick, and in fact mine are touch sensitive, so I have to be careful when moving the device. I bought a car charger adapater for it, so riders in my car can just sit still in the backseat and watch TV for the long trips.
Really there isn't much to say. It is basically a portable IPOD play with a larger screen that can play your music (loudly) or your movies.
I like it, and I REALLY like it on the airplan.
Digital camera Review: Ipod Screen and Remote Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this for my husband for Christmas. We used it to watch a movie one night in a hotel when there was nothing on t.v. He will be using it for his job overseas. So far it is great!
Digital camera Review: LOVE this for our 5.5G iPod - had to buy a back up, just in case Summary: 5 Stars
Let me preface this by saying shame on Apple for making their new Classic iPods incompatible with non-OEM video accessories. We love this accessory for our videos for our 3yo daughter. Gone are the days of searching for the DVD she wants and plugging it into the DVD player. And searching for the cover boxes when you need to put them away (where do those go?!) We bought several portable DVD players which failed within months. This is a very sturdy unit - she's dropped it several times and so far so good. Considering her height - we're talking about a 2' drop onto a concrete foundation floor... not bad at all. We use CloneDVDMobile to rip the DVDs to MP4 format - drag and drop into the iTunes library & off we go.
I even bought an 80GB 5.5G iPod and that, too, fits in this model (even though it clearly says 60GB on it).
The only fault is that the touch buttons can be difficult to use. The tiny, storable remote is nice for turning the unit on and off instead of the touch surface.
I had to buy a back up just in case one of those 2' drops kills the unit. I highly recommend this for people who have lots of videos/DVDs they want to carry around with them - easy storage, easy retrieval, sturdy unit.
