My son's school science project this year was to test a set of rechargeable batteries. He conducted two tests on Duracell, Sony, Energizer and Lenmar: 1. Long term storage test where the batteries were fully charged and stored for two weeks before measuring the voltage. 2. Capacity test where randomly selected two batteries were fully charged and put on a regular flashlight until a complete discharge happened. The first test was inconclusive. He repeated the capacity test mutiple times and the clear winner was the Energizer NH15BP-4 and the Duracell came in second. BTW, the manufacture's claim on the overall capacity was not even close to the measured capacity. This Sony battery was the last one. It performed consistenly without being overcharged, but the overall capacity was not very good.Digital camera Review: Best Batteries on the market

I',ve tried, Radio Shack etc and nothing lasts as long as these. These are the best rechargable batteries on the market. I bought 3 packs last december and have them in everything from my remote controls to cordless mice and my digital cameras. They hold a charge as long if not longer than a alkaline, and have never failed. For the price amazon charges they'll pay for themselves in no time.

Purchased these and Energizer rechargables last year. The Sony are still going strong vrs the Energizer. Highly recommended. Just simply good! Easy to recharge and last forever. I use them for my Canon PowerShot A640 10MP Digital Camera and they work really well with this camera. I've been using my camera frequently for a week, and the batteries still run good.

I have tried a few types of batteries, but these are top notch (as the price suggests). In my Canon A620 I can take about 300 pictures and many battery draining videos before these Sony batteries go dead. In my Xbox 360 controller I've had one set in for a few months without having to change them. I have multiple sets of energizer rechargeable batteries at work, and they don't hold a charge as long or completely die within a month or so. These Sony ones last longer then any other batteries that I have tried. I will not use any other brand now.
