Digital camera Review: A great replacement charger

It was about a year ago that my camera charger was misplaced for my Cybershot camera. After it died, the camera sat gathering dust in my camera drawer without any power. After much deliberation over the price, I decided to get the official Sony charger rather then an aftermarket charger. I managed to find an open box charger are a steep discount, and it is that charger that I am writing this review off of.
To start, one thing that I cannot help but notice is the actual size increase from my OEM G-series charger that was packaged with my Cybershot W230. While not hugely larger, it is bigger and a little bit of a pain to stow away in a backpack where room is hard to find. Don't get me wrong, the unit itself measures 7.5cm x 4.3cm x 3.5cm, make sure you have room backpackers!
While I cannot recall how fast my OEM charger was (as it was a year ago since I last used it), I can tell you that this Travel Charger is fast, as in super fast. With a dead battery (0%) it fully charged the battery in about 150minutes give or take, just as it states on the packaging. This makes it a great charger for quick stops at the hostel or hotel to juice up before heading out once more.
As of right now, my battery has been holding a good charge, and I unfortunately don't have a new battery to test with, so that will not be included in this review.
In conclusion, I can say that most people will be quite satisfied with the Sony BCTRG Travel Charger for their G-Series battery cameras. While the steep price is hard to justify, it works fine and well as it should.
