An excellent basic player with picture and sound quality found in $300 models. Loads blu ray discs within 12 seconds. Buyers with older t-v's (those without hdmi input)should know that upscale of standard DVD's to 1080p only works with hdmi output on the player. Those who have only the component input on their t-v will only get 1080i output from the player on blu ray discs and standard dvd's will not be upscaled to 1080.Digital camera Review: Excellent value and easy to use

The only problem is the player makes a lould noise during the playing.
