Waited a long time to get a good lcd tv. When I saw the Amazon price for the Sony kdl-52w4100 120hz lcd I jumped on it. I received a confirmation email and shipment date right away! Next morning an apology from Amazon : NO CAN DO!! I believe once I got the confirmation email with the price and delivery date, they should have kept their word!!Digital camera Review: Bad experience

The same happened to me.
Amazon had the TV advertized for $1,431. I placed an order and received confirmation.
Later that day I went to a local furniture store and bought a wall system to house the big TV when it arrives.
After assembling it I received the famous email from Amazon that the price was a mistake, they apologize but will NOT honor it.
Well - why am I paying for their mistake? What now, do I need to disassemble the furniture and return to the store? Pay restocking fee? What about the endless hours I am wasting with this issue?
Shouldn't someone at Amazon pay for the mistake? Maybe the one who did the mistake?
How come a company does not stand behind their own mistakes? For $200?
I remember few years ago DELL had the same mistake (with a difference of much more than $200). Hundreds of laptops were ordered for a wrong price. DELLS response to the media: "We will honor it".
I plan on checking the legal aspects of this. Post in each blog I can. Complain with Better Business Bureau and start a Face Book group for it.

Been a dedicated Amazon shopper for years, now until.....
Ordered this set and Blue Ray package, on the web site for a good price, thought was a fair amount, not a crazy deal like a software malfunction that dropped the price of the TV dramatically.
Got an e-mail next morning stating that they canceled the order due to "incorrect pricing" of the TV, so I canceled the entire order.
If AMAZON PERSONEL are reviewing this/these opinions; FYI canceling a large order just for a few extra bucks and pissing off a dedicated shopper, in this economic environment, is a dumb thing to do.

The title says it all. I've seen this LCD in stores on display, and this model always stood out among the rest. I've now had the pleasure of watching tv on this very big screen for a few weeks now and I am most satisfied. Colors are great, 120hz refresh rate, syncs well with sony's bd550 blu ray player, one remote controls both. Blu ray is so sharp on this panel, I nearly had a tear running down my cheek the first time I watched a movie on it. Shipping was great and on time as scheduled. I have always been afraid of purchasing something this expensive online, but I am most satisfied with this purchase. I want to thank Amazon as well as I had an issue with the transaction and was resolved appropriately. I recommend this LCD to anyone within its budget. I've had the tv for about two weeks now and it has been great. The HD picture is amazing of course, my SD programs look great and Blu-ray movies are virtually flawless. I moved up from a 42" Plasma, which has been a great tv. The LCD is definitely brighter in my very open living room. I chose this over the Samsung 52" 650 model. While the Samsung has a slightly brighter screen and Consumer Reports loves the tv, it's very glossy screen simply reflected too much light for my viewing location. The more matte finish on the Sony has been perfect.
