Arrived sooner than expected and in perfect condition. Delivery Man did not unpack and remove packaging...partially my fault as I didn't know it was included in the delivery. The TV is Great...picture is amazing, features are very user friendly.
Price dropped by $85 within a week of purchase...wondering if Amazon has a 30 day price guarantee?

Purchased the 52" Sony from Amazon, was going to buy one @ Sam's but they changed models, this was the upgraded one, plus it was a better deal. Great Service and delivery, plus I purchased the Sony Sound Bar DVD and the IPOD Dock, It's hung on the wall over my fireplace with the Soundbar underneath. What a system, it automatically selects the input device, functions are controlled by Sony Remote (Except for Direct TV, (bummer)) But I rate this 10 out of 10, and Amazon is the BEST, the other stores do not compare!!!!

I wrote a previous One Star review which never appeared regarding my attempt to purchase the Sony 52 inch W Series HDTV. I ordered the TV at $1431.00, gave my credit card information and received a purchase confirmation and expected date of delivery. The very next day, like others, I received an email advising me that they had canceled my order, and referring me to their Policy section. Now I've noticed that this very same HDTV price remains stuck at the same price of $1649.00 without changing from day to day like it did before. I find that peculiar. Needless to say, I am extremely unhappy with Amazon.com and the way they've handled this so called error. BUYER'S BEWARE!
Digital camera Review: Defective upon receipt Summary: 1 Stars
This TV arrived defective upon receipt. The box looked flawless, but it was dropped or something went wrong somewhere. The screen would blink in and out. Audio generally worked, but would not occassionally. Contacted Sony hotline. Did some gymnastics and convinced them the TV was set up correctly. Got permission to use local service company for warranty work. Needs new LCD panel and board. Parts out of stock. This is the 5th week and no TV yet. I hope this is extremely unusual as I have had good luck with Sony in the past.
UPDATE: 1 part arrived when promised. 2nd still on back order. Called Sony. They elevated the case and offered a new TV in replacement. I said fine. 10 more days and the new TV arrived. In total it was 6/7 weeks. New TV is working great.
I could have returned the damaged TV to the vendor, but they charge freight even for damaged returns on TV's over 27". Would have been faster, but I didn't see why I should pay any additional costs.
I am happy with the new TV. My rating reflects the repair experience with Sony.
