Just received my adapter today. I opted for the standard shipping and it still arrived in about 4 days which I was very pleased about. Opened it up and connected instantly to my Chatterbox system in my motorcycle helmet. There was an issue with the package not listing iPod Classic in the compatibility but it works great with the Classic! So easy to use and it is very small, it even fits in the dock connector while in my case. I am very pleased with this purchase.Digital camera Review: Excellent Range using 2nd Generation iPhone.

The Sony bluetooth transmitter has range almost equal to that of my iMac's bluetooth transmitter. It works with my iPhone but I have to bring up my iPod player and then plug the transmitter into the iPhone and then press the on/off button on the transmitter. It puts up a message that it's not compatible with the iPhone but just answer "no" when it asks about going to airplane mode (it works in airplane mode too, as it should). By answering no you can make and receive phone calls seamlessly and the iPod mutes and pauses appropriately. I use Sony headphones (DR-BT21G) during running, walking, working out, and house cleaning. I use a Plantronics Voyager 855 headset when driving. The Sony headset is the best of the two for iPod audio quality and phone call quality.Digital camera Review: Excellent add-on for ipod touch 2g

I really don't understand why Apple hasn't built in the features that this tiny accessory brings to the ipod touch 2g... I use it with my DRBT-21G Sony BT stereo headphones and am as happy as can be. Set up is trivial and the quality is great.Digital camera Review: Excellent little device

This item is worth the price. Excellent range, no problems whatsoever.
The only qualms I have with this device is it seems to brain my ipod battery quickly (4 hours ish), but that could be due to me having an old ipod.

This is an excellent bluetooth transmitter. I bought it for use with my Motorola S9 bluetooth headset and pairing was incredibly easy, you only have to turn both on and music starts streaming. I would recommend spending the money to get a quality transmitter. The range is about 30 ft as stated, I was able to walk across half the house before the signal started to break up. Very worth while investment.
