Digital camera Review: Tried 5+ brands. this is the best

Had this TV for 2 month now. It's perfect. I tried samsung, sharp, vizio, zenith, westinghouse, and this sony tv is the best of them all. It's got the best dark level and i saw some dark details even my 23" samsung and 32" 1080p sharp doesn't show.
extremely happy with this TV. Make sure you do your TV settings in picture "custom" (there are standard, vivid, custom, and cinema). i first use "standard" and it auto dim during dark scene which will loose dark detail. Custom does not auto dim backlight.

I've been researching LCD TVs for over a year now. The two main things that drew me to this model are the SteadySound (volume leveling) and built in video upconversion features.
The SteadySound could be a bit more aggressive in limiting the dynamic range of the volume, but I'm being picky there, and nobody else has the feature at all, nearly as I can tell. It's really nice not to have car dealer ads blare at me when it goes to commercial (do they *really* think that makes us *more* likely to buy from them?).
I could not be more pleased with the image quality on this set.
The way I see it, for now, and probably some time to come, most television channels will be SD. Even after the switchover I expect that to be the case. Because of that, I was most interested in a set that would not look crummy with an SD feed.
This set fills the bill. Yes, full up HD feeds do look much better than SD feeds do, but for the most part even SD feeds look even better on this set than they did on the CRT it replaced.
It's a kick to see even my old VHS tapes looking great, and it's nice to be able to contentedly wait for prices on Blu-Ray players to drift down out of nose-bleed territory.
For reference, I am a pretty techno-savvy fellow, but I also haven't read the manual for this set, only referenced it via its index a few times to understand things on the menu that weren't self-explanatory. I've found it easy to use and very pleasant to watch.

There are many LCD HDTVs in market today and picture quality is quite comparable. When you take a TV home, it always "look" great but what you should also consider is its feature-set, user friendliness. This Sony tv is very nice in all aspects for the price tag it has. The discounted one, I mean and not the MSRP. The remote is much more responsive, lots of control options, very nice cinemotion even without the 120Hz. Dont judge TVs too much by response time and contrast ratios. These numbers are product specific and can not be compared across. I also like this tv can lock channel irrespective of the ratings info. The on-screen guide is very nice.
Has very rich and true colors, deep black levels, good surround sound. When you switch channels, they change very quickly as compared to some other TVs. The information displayed is also very good.
Overall, a very good buy.
Cons: No backlit remote, no swivel stand, USB port is not generic.

The Sony Bravia gives you a different dimension altogether when you watch the HD channels. Check out ESPN HD in this television and you would not wish to watch any other sports channel. As also the Travel HD. Unfortunately not all the channels have the same quality of HD transmission and this hurts. Especially Fox News, which literally gives a headache!!
Another incentive for buying this model is the drop in price by almost
70$ since the time I bought the TV.

After shopping around more than 3 month, I was in debate of samsung ln40a550 or kdl v4100. I went with sony 'coz of reliability and 24p movie option. It sits next to my ps3. I had vizio before (i still do), wow what a quality difference while playing game or watching tv, movies. TV is rich in feature. Picture is very good and sound is not bad either.
