I have been using mine for a little over a year. I bought it practically the day they came out. I very much wanted a small camera to have with me when something came up where I needed a picture. This camera is perfect for that purpose. Very easy to take on the ski slopes, or anywhere.It easily fits in almost any pocket. It takes good quality pictures. One of the best features is how extremely fast its resets and is ready for the next picture. Much faster than most digital cameras. Large viewing screen is nice.Digital camera Review: Excellent!

I love the size of this camera, but I use this camera for business, so when I shoot a photo I have to rely on it for a good shot. I just can't live with the picture quality. I was disappointed with the indoor shots, funny dark brownish color,
it never seems to get the color right indoors. I liked being able to shoot short videos, and being able to carry it easily,
but like I said I get unreliable picture quality.You would have to carry the manual around to remember what the symbols mean to set it for a different exposure. I hate to send it back, but I give up.

I bought this camera a few days ago for the purpose of going travelling with.
This camera is great. While I could have bought a 7 or 8 MP camera, there was really no point; this camera is 5MP and can be easily blown up to an A4 size...who needs larger than that?
I find that the battery does not last for long, so I bought 2 spare. (shop around for cheap prices though...Sony wanted to charge AU$70 (US$50) or so for the 'NP-FE1' 'Infolithium Battery', but I found a website that sold them for only AU$24 (US$18)!
The LCD screen seems to drain a lot of power, but who really uses their Viewfinder now anyway?
The sound quality on the Video mode is not the best, but still legible.
All in all,
this is a GREAT camera. I would recommend it to anyone just wanting a small camera that is great quality and travels well.

What I like most about this camera is that it is so small yet built very well indeed. After reading some of the reviews on the net I was willing to take a chance on a 500.00 credit card sized machine! I have to say that I tested it under many conditions, outside light, outside dark, inside bright, dark, etc. From the box the camera is stunning but when you mess a bit with the options you can get better quality. Out of the box quality is amazing enough that you would never need to change a thing! I do have to agree that you will need a spare battery for this puppy as it did seem to go down like a rock... but then again most cell phone batteries will die in the same or less time with constant use... so it isnt a bid deal. Also the memory stick is great, you can hold over 100 pictures in 1m mode (im not sure why anyone shoots 5m pics anyway...) and are great for general use on the computer or for tv. The video works great as does the recorded sound. I really cant say enough about this baby, I am sure the nerds will gripe about small things but then again someone can always bitch about something! You will love this camera, it is great! Small, well built and shoots QUICK and great quality pics.
