Digital camera reviews of Sony Cybershot DSCW120/B 7.2MP Digital Camera with 4x Optical Zoom with Super Steady Shot (Black)Digital camera Review: A little bit of a let down. Summary: 3 Stars
This is a great looking camera and a nice size. I was replacing my aging panasonic camera and hoping that the pictures would be noticeably better, especially with double the mega pixels and dual antishake. But the pictures were very similar to my older camera and the antishake didn't seem to work at all. It may be that I didn't keep the camera long enough to figure out the best settings or that I got a defective one but I did return it and bought a Canon Elph instead. It's a SD850is and takes great pictures and was about the same price as the Sony. The canon has a flimsy plastic cover over the usb port that keeps popping open so I guess there is no perfect point and shoot but the pictures are very good and the digital macro lets you get as close as you possibly can.

Digital camera Review: Awful Camera, Lousy Pictures Summary: 1 Stars
I bought this camera to replace my old worn-out Canon PowerShot A70 3.2MP camera thinking the pictures would be far superior. Wrong. The worst feature is the flash -- on most settings you cannot override and make the auto flash work if there is any light in the room... so all my indoor photos are way too dark. I have had the camera a year and I hate it. I do the bulletin board for a church group and all my photos of people are awful; they used to really be good with the old Canon. The Sony Cybershot does take good pictures outside in bright light and the flash works well outside at night, but daytime indoor shots are the pits.
Digital camera Review: Best of Cameras Summary: 5 Stars
This is my second cybershot i've owned.. the DSC-W series i've found it the best.. i've had friends get the other one that doesn't have the W in it and its just not as nice and only a few bucks cheaper.. I just love the cybershot cameras!
Digital camera Review: Dead/stuck pixel on LCD Display Summary: 2 Stars
So, the DSC-W120 came in the mail today. I charged the battery via the charger, turned it on and viola: a dead or stuck pixel appeared on the top left of the LCD display. This is quite discouraging. I called Sony and they gave me the run-around even though their box states, "PLEASE DO NOT RETURN THE PRODUCT TO THE STORE" urging costumers to call Sony with defective products. I took a few pictures and the dead/stuck pixel does not replicate itself in the photo. So, the question is should I keep it? Or return it and go through the hassle of a replacement or refund? I would like some insight here, since this is my first digital camera in (gasp) seven years!
