I am delighted to have purchased this item from Sony. It can also charge Ni-Mh batteries that exceed 2300 mAh and i have a Nikon Coolpix 7600 digital camera and I charged 2500 mAh rechargeable Energizer battery and it took 450 shots with flash and also had energy to film for some minutes before the batteries ran out. I also have other types of rechargeable batteries and all of them can be charged using this Sony charger. I was happy that I had to wait a long period to exhaust the batteries during my checking. The power cut facility is very handy.It automatically shuts off the indicator light when the batteries are fully charged. I recommend that this charger is more than useful for digital camera users.
