I bought it last year, mine only lasted two weeks only, I was hearing my cd of U2 on my break at work... then stopped, the lcd window showed a strange pattern and turn off, later when i tried to restart, the buttons were mixed up...

i didn't get any refund because the store told me that was my fault (a circuit burned), the funny thing, I worked at that store and my cd player was always in my locker... safe...

a co-worker (who exchanged my cd player for another one behind my boss back) told me that some customers had trouble with the same one...

at the end i ended with a RCA player and quit my job two months later, and this one got bad luck because it fell from the second floor of my new job... (my new boss is at fault XD) right into the pool... ^^U but even after that my rca player is still working o_oU...

=_= sound like a joke but i can believe that the quality of sony got that bad... now i need to research more before my next purchase of a sony product

Sony's D-EJ100 augments its great sound and extensive features with a stylish, blue, full-circle exterior. And at a mere .94 inches thick, this Walkman lives up to its name, traveling with ease in pocket, purse, or backpack. Playback options include 32-track programming, repeat (track, disc, or program), random play, and an amazing 50 hours of playback from a pair of standard AA batteries (not included). A clip-on remote makes it easy to operate the player while you're on the go, and Sony's "h.ear" clip-on headphones are designed for streamlined comfort.

"Active use" is a key phrase for this player: Sony's Skip-Free G-Protection boosts the laser pickup's shock protection to minimize read errors that would otherwise interrupt your music, providing quick recovery from both horizontal and vertical shocks. The D-EJ100's heat-resistant lid helps protect the player against high-temperature build up, especially when you're using it outdoors or in a vehicle.

You can hook the player up with your home system through an analog stereo "Y" interconnect. Should your music require it, the Walkman's Digital Mega Bass Sound engages digital processing to enhance your music with deep, authentic bass tones.

Bookmark playback lets you program your favorite songs from multiple CDs and play them back at the touch of a button, and Sony's automatic volume limiter system (AVLS) conserves batteries--and guards your hearing--by capping your listening level at either of two settings. The player may be used with optional AC/DC power adapters (AC-E45HG or -E45A) or car accessories (vehicle power cord: DCC-E345 or -E34CP, car kit CPA-9).
