I would have given this cd player 0 stars if there was that choice. This cd player is horrible. It says that it plays CD-Rs and CD-RWs but not really. When i first took it out of its box, I put some batteries in it and put in a rewritable cd, but it didnt play it at all. So I thought okay there must be something wrong with the cd, but the cd was fine. Next I tried to put in a CD-R and it only played about the first 12 songs correctly, and even then I thought it skipped a lot for a cd player that is supposed to be no-skip. Anyway, in the last 5 or 6 songs on the cd, even when it was sitting on a desk not being shaken at all, it would skip about 5 times a second, and each time it skipped it would stop playing for about a second. So to get through the first 5 seconds of the song it took about 20 seconds, with consistent skipping through the whole thing. This cd player is the worst thing I have ever spent $50 on. Hope this convinces you not to buy this player.Digital camera Review: Certainly worth the money

I've only had this player for a few days now, so I can't comment on it's durability. However I can tell you this player has excellent sound quality. I have a pair of Grado headphones and am happy to find this player delivers good quality sound, although you'll most likely have to step up the bass boost (just to the first notch). The skip protection is also very good, I had it in my pants pocket while on an excersice bike for 15 minutes and it didn't skip once. I've had it skip a couple of times when you really bang it hard continuously, but I can't imagine anyone doing that on accident. The asthetic design of the product is very cool. The pictures don't do it justice. The blue is very dark with a great white accent and the green isn't as vibrant is in the pictures. It looks good! I still haven't figured out some of the features this player offers, but I am already very happy with my purchase and extremely happy with Amazon for their speed of delivery and reliability!The only reason I didn't give this player 5 stars was because I've only had it a few days.

This cd player is not very good at all, it will not play any CD-R's with out excessive skipping. It might play the first few songs ok, but then it will jump, and skip threw the rest of the cd. The sound quality is pretty good when you are listening to a regular cd, but if you want to play a burned cd, forget it. If you are looking for a good cd player, go for the Panasonic SL-SX320, which is $10 dollars cheaper, that is a much better cd player. I returned this cd player and got the Panasonic SL-MP70 which is also a much better player than this one, and it also plays MP3 cd's. Okay, I got this CD player for Christmas (2003) and it seemed okay at first,but the the buttons were really confusing. Then about two months later it would no longer olay my CD's. So I still had the waranty and i retutrned it for a new one. So, about three months and it did the same thing. it has an ugly tab thing and scratches easily. Plus it gets fingerprits all over it.
