This is a great portable CD player, Sony quaity. I especially like that it returns to my place if paused, so I don't have to scroll. The controls are easily to see and to operate. The only things I don't like are the differences between it and an mp3 player. Everything's a trade-off, and for those things I have to listen to in CD format, this player is ideal. I have a case for over my shoulder or around my neck, because the belt-style cases don't suit my formal type of dress. I haven't had it long enough to comment on durability.Digital camera Review: Great CD Player

Unfortunately, a CD player is a necessity at my job because we cannot have iPods. I originally bought an Insignia CD player from Best Buy. It played MP3 CDs but it always started from the beginning of a track, and the batter life wasn't very acceptable when I use it 7+ hours a day. It started breaking down from overuse and from just being kind of crappy to begin with, so I looked into this CD player. A friend at work purchased it and LOVED it. I was extremely excited to get mine, and I've been using it for a month or so now with no problems whatsoever. My only initial concern was that the batteries go inside, underneath the CD, but this player picks up from the very spot I left off even if I take the CD out. The battery life, even with rechargeable batteries, is amazing. Like I said, I use this 7 or so hours a day, and my batteries have lasted me more than a week at times. The radio reception is awesome, it plays MP3 CDs, and it picks up where I left off even if I hit stop 3 hours into a track. Amazing.Digital camera Review: Great CD player

I have a large CD collection so I purchased this so that I could listen to my CD's using my BOSE stereo. Looking back, I should have purchased the more expensive BOSE stereo that included the CD player but since I did not, I made up for it by purchasing this walkman. The walkman attaches to a aux cable and it works perfectly! The price was very reasonable.
