We love this DVD player. It meets our needs perfectly. We are able to use the DVD player to allow the kids to watch movies in the car (using a carrying case that can be mounted between the two front headrests so that the kids don't have to hold the DVD player). We've also used it at a cabin where there was no TV and plan to use it "on the road" on future vacations. The quality of both the screen and the sound are superb. I love that the screen can rotate around. Overall, we are very pleased and happy with this purchase!Digital camera Review: Good deal

... for a portable DVD player! A bit on the high price end, but it's a Sony product and is supposed to last longer with better quality. The volume control (slider) takes getting used to. Wish it came with a good set of headphones and/or carrying case.Digital camera Review: Good quality overall

We've had the player for 4 months and it has functioned very well. So far it has recognized all the DVDs we've put in it, although we haven't tried to play rental DVDs.
Our only complaint is that there isn't a car mounting option for the device. We modified an old mounting case from a different player and solved that problem.

I have just received this player, but in record time!!! I ordered this last Thursday and received it Monday with the free regular shipping--very impressed! It has been playing for 4 hours already and my kids love it! Great quality. I cannot wait to try it out in the car for our 6 hour trip this weekend! So far, so good!
