Just got my dvd player at a great price $129.99. The picture is so clear and the sound is great! The lid in heavy and the player itself is made of good quality materials, not cheap plastic. Still seeing if the battery life is actually 6 hours, but so far it's a good buy. I also like the little remote that comes with it, although the screen is an easy touch screen to operate the controls. I LOVE this DVD player! I just received it yesterday - couldnt wait to try it out and I was blown away by the picture quality and sound!
I have a Sony 8" player with mostly the same features as the 9", but this one is hands down better than the other one - I dont know why - it just is. Suits me to a tee!

We brought this DVD player on vacation with us for our 3 yr. old daughter. It performed well and still had half battery life after 4 cumulative hours of use. The controls on the player are simple enough for our daughter to use. The remote has features for more detailed functions. The charger allowed for 220 voltage in Asia. The only "con" I can think of is the lack of fast search (forward and reverse) buttons on the player instead of just skip buttons. The speakers are small so sound quality is average, but use of headphones makes it better.
